Location: Lakewood Park, 1650 Willow Wood Road, Norfolk, VA.
Participants: All athletes who are available, ready to compete, and paid fall membership dues.
Summary: Granby’s internal scrimmage is open to other local crews, but we usually race ourselves. Granby novices and varsity are split up into mixed, equal-speed boats. All of us race a 2750m head-race course. Then we do a 500m sprint demonstration. Our first scrimmage was in 2011.
Spectating: The best place is Mayflower Road in Colonial Place.
